WELCOME TO A WEEKEND OF ITM ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE!

November 6-8 in Stockholm

Jenny Lierud & Tobias Bennsten

The Alexander Technique is a reasoning-based, thought-driven tool for achieving more freedom of movement and increased quality and coordination in all types of movement and performance.

Do you wan t to get more done with less effort? Would you like to experience more freedom of movement and thought?

By exploring how we do everything we do, how we think, and how we can use ourselves in a more beneficial way, we can improve our performances in all categories.

By studying thinking in relation to movement, you can develop mental discipline that you can then apply to all areas of your life!

The workshop will be taught by Jenny Lierud and Tobias Bennsten, certified teachers of the ITM Alexander Technique, trained in Bristol, UK.

The workshop will be held mostly in Swedish, but both teachers are used to switching between Swedish and English. Your lesson turns can be in English if that suits you better. We will choose the language that suits the whole group best

Friday evening begins with an introductory lecture. The rest of the evening, and the rest of the weekend, will incude a number of lesson turns where anyone that wants to can explore these ideas in practice. These lesson turns will be mixed with discussions and questions.

The teachers will use their hands in teaching. It is a gentle touch and any movement happening is directed by the student. We always ask for consent before using our hands in teaching.

We will provide coffee and snacks during the breaks.
You will provide your own lunch. If you choose to bring your own lunch, we kindly ask that you bring something that does not need to be heated up. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafés near the venue.

Welcome to experience the power of reasoning applied to movement!

– Charlie, ITM-student
