Jenny är barockcellist och cellist, cellopedagog och Alexandertekniklärare.

Som cellist är Jenny specialiserad på tidig musik, främst barockens rika repertoar och spelstilar från 1600- och 1700-talen. Jenny har också ett specialintresse för den allra tidigaste cellon och dess repertoar.
Hon har en bakgrund inom det moderna cellospelet och rötterna i den svenska folkmusiktraditionen.
Jenny frilansar i många olika sammanhang och är grundande medlem i olika kammarensembler.

Jenny är certifierad Alexandertekniklärare inom ITM, Interactive Teaching Method. Alexandertekniken är ett kraftfullt verktyg som kan ge djupgående och varaktiga förändringar till det bättre. Genom att utforska hur vi tänker och rör oss, och hur vi använder oss själva, får vi bättre koordination och ökad närvaro och frihet, såväl i vardagen som i mer specialiserade områden som till exempel musik, dans eller idrott.

Jenny is a baroque cellist and cellist, cello teacher and Alexander technique teacher.

As cellist, Jenny is specialised in early music, particularly the rich repertoire and styles from the baroque era of the 17th and 18th centuries. Jenny has a particular interest in the earliest cello and its development and repertoire.
Her background is with the classical music of the modern cello of today, and her roots are in the Swedish folk music tradition.
She freelances in a number of different contexts and is a grounding member of many different chamber ensembles.

Jenny is a certified teacher of the Alexander technique, within ITM, the Interactive Teaching Method. The Alexander technique is a powerful tool that can result in profound and lasting changes for the better. By exploring how we think and move, and how we use ourselves, we get better coordination and increased flexibility and freedom, both in everyday life as well as in more specialised areas like for example music, dance or sports.
